Steve – Thanks for the updates. No surprises here. I wonder if Billy Butler can play a full season at 1b. Is Peralta realistically on the Mets radar? If Despaigne has worked out for several teams then it is very unlikely that he will wear the orange and blue any time soon. Mike

    • Steven Inman says:

No problem Mike. First with Butler from what I understand he really can’t play first and has always been a major defensive liability at first. His only home is likely on an American league team.

Next yes Mike Peralta is on the Mets radar. They believe Peralta’s price tag will drop this winter because of his recent PED scandal.

And lastly with Despaigne he isn’t likely to break the bank so why can’t the Mets sign him? I’m not sure how much he can help right away though as their is very little info out on him. I know he doing a workout in front of more teams next week in Mexico. Thanks again Mike!
