The Dodgers have expressed interest in Mets reliever Bobby Parnell according to Jon Heyman of CBS Sports. The Mets are highly unlikely to move Parnell from what I understand and the Dodgers don’t really have much to offer the Mets. Earlier this month, Adam Rubin of ESPN New York said Parnell was ‘virtually untouchable.: Unless they were allowed to give the Mets cash and basically just buy Parnell from the Mets, (which they are not) Sandy Alderson would not be interested in moving his only established reliever.images

The Dodgers would be interested in moving former Met Chris Capuano. Capuano pitched well in his lone season in Queens before signing a two year deal with the Dodgers. The Dodgers will likely move Capuano because they have just too many starters and the Mets could be a fit just not for Parnell. The Mets need to add more quality relievers not subtract from the few they have.
